Me aims to give period-care market a makeover

New Zealand-based period-product brand Me has launched in Australia, seeking to give the category a makeover with its range of environmentally friendly products.

The brand says it wants to redesign period care by giving it the same respect, attention, and airtime as any other personal care product – hence the tagline “Don’t hide Me”.

The range comes in a signature blue packaging to evoke a “distinct, calming, fuss-free and non-binary” design and includes pads in regular, super, or overnight versions, along with tampons in mini, regular, or super, and a liner.

Each product is designed with a blend of sustainably sourced 100-per-cent organic cotton and synthetic material. The pads and liners use biodegradable wrappers, and all products are stored in recyclable cardboard exterior packaging.

In addition, all period products are hypoallergenic, free of synthetic dyes, fragrance, and chlorine.

Me’s range of period products is available in Coles Supermarkets nationwide.
