Fine food producer Birch & Wait has released a new range of on-the-go premium condiments this month to meet the increasing demand for gourmet sauces.

According to the company, each sauce was created by leading industry chefs using authentic recipes and made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients without any preservatives, colours or flavours.

The new premium condiments are available in five varieties – Gourmet Tomato, Creamy Aioli, Tartare, Sweet Chilli, and Smokey BBQ.

A recent report from IBIS World says that online food delivery platforms have seen an increase of 43 per cent, and today with Covid-19 restrictions, more restaurants are transitioning to takeaways.

Takeaway food options, said the company, has stepped up in the gourmet stakes as regular condiments in restaurants no longer satisfy customers.

“Australians are now used to having access to restaurant quality takeaway options,” said Paul O’Brien, CEO, Birch & Waite.

“We’ve seen demand for an on-the-go range up to over 50 per cent in the past year, and we saw an opportunity to give chefs a high-quality range of condiments that complements their takeaway meals, not cheapens them. “ O’Brien added.

All condiments in the range are shelf-stable, gluten-free, and packaged in travel-friendly sealed containers.
