Endeavour Group’s liquor chains Dan Murphy’s and BWS will recruit more than 4000 team members for the coming summer season.

More than 2000 customer assistant roles are being offered at Dan Murphy’s, almost double the number of the staff recruited last summer. The majority of roles are casual with a minimum of 20 hours per week on offer

“We encourage people from all walks of life to apply – from university students to retirees,” said Alison Merner, chief people officer at Endeavour Group. “We are looking for motivated people who are service-minded and have a keen interest in the world of drinks.”

Meanwhile, BWS is employing 400 staff now and will hire an additional 2000 customer assistants next month.

Out of 4000 summer staff, about 3000 roles will be available in NSW, Victoria and Queensland. The rest will be available across WA SA, Tasmania, ACT and NT.

“We strongly encourage our team members to get vaccinated,” Merner added. “To support the Covid-19 vaccination roll out, we offer full-time and part-time team members paid leave to get vaccinated.”
