Regal King Salmon launches in Australia, via Coles

New Zealand premium brand Regal King Salmon has expanded its footprint in Australia with the launch in Coles.

Making up 0.7 per cent of the world’s salmon population, king salmon is known as a source of protein and contains some of the highest omega-3 levels, which can help support healthy hearts, brains & joints.

“King Salmon is known for its delicious texture & we’re delighted that Australians will now be able to experience the King Salmon difference with Regal Salmon’s smoked salmon offering,” said Sahra Cliffe, global marketing manager of Regal.

“As well as providing superior flavour, we’re passionate about sustainability which is why we have retained complete ownership of our supply chain, to ensure the best quality & ethics from egg to plate.”

According to the company, Regal produces 50 per cent of this salmon around the world and its fish is raised in the cold water of New Zealand’s Marlborough Sounds, which creates a combination of flavour, colour and texture.

Founded with the vision of producing fresh products for salmon lovers, Regal has made a commitment to sustainability through its farming practices and it also sets a goal to reach 100 per cent of reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging by 2025.

Regal’s products – Cold Smoked Salmon Slices and Wood Roasted Portions – are available in Coles across the country with the following RRPs of 9$ and 12$.
