Australian life science company EZZ Life has signed a distribution deal with Chemist Warehouse China.

The life sciences industry is a fast-growing sector across the world and in Australia, it is the country’s eighth-largest export sector worth $8.5 billion. Demand for products surged in 2020 has continued to grow well into last year.

Chemist Warehouse China will stock four of the company’s products including EZZ iron jelly, EZZ Coffee Jelly, EZZ Sweet Dream Gummy and EZZ Magic Gummy.

The company will also launch with Chemist Warehouse a Tmall flagship store in China. “Tmall is the biggest B2C e-commerce platform in China, with over 500 million registered customers. This is a significant announcement for us,” said EZZ Life chairman, Glenn Cross.

He said the pandemic has helped to create a ‘science-based’ consumer mindset.

“Based on our research and consultation with industry and consumers, the pandemic has invoked a strong desire for consumers to seek out products that deliver a multiplicity of health and wellness benefits that are backed by science,” said Cross.

“We are looking forward to continuing to address the growing needs of the global community with high-quality products that are well researched, backed by science and deliver functional benefits and superior convenience.”
