Mars Wrigley expands gum and mint range

Mars Wrigley Australia has unveiled two new products in the traditional mint and chewing gum category developed by its Asquith-based research and development (R&D) team.

The Eclipse Plus range comes in two flavours: Comfort which is a blend of honey, lemon and ginger, and Release which features a mix of lemon, menthol and mint.

The Extra White sugar-free mint range contains sodium bicarbonate to help keep teeth clean and bright and comes in two flavours – Spearmint and Peppermint.

Chris Hutton, R&D director at Mars Wrigley Australia, said the range expansion signals the company’s commitment to driving local innovations out of the Asquith site.

“Our new product innovations offer consumers a welcomed and refreshing take on old favourites. We see the gum and mint category as a key growth engine for our Australian business,” he said.

The products are now available at convenience stores and major supermarkets across the country.
