Bega Cheese releases early life nutrition range

Bega Cheese has unveiled an early life nutrition range called Happi Day and Night Growing Up Milk Drinks for toddlers.

The toddler drink contains 25 nutrients, minerals, DHA and dual prebiotics for a healthy gut. The Day version provides nutrient support that can assist in learning and play during the day while the Happi Night provides key nutrients which help in brain development at night.

Dr Bradley Coleman, head of Consumer Health at Bega Cheese, says there is no one size fits all when it comes to children’s nutrition.

“Development is a top parental concern, and it is important to us that parents and families feel confident making choices for their children’s nutrition as it plays such an important role in the brain development process.”

Dietitian Melanie McGrice said the body’s requirements for important nutrients during infancy and toddlerhood are similar.

“As your child becomes more independent from the age of two, they may exert this independence by being selective, or ‘picky’, about what they eat.”

The Happi’s Day & Night toddler milk has been trialled in over 240 households with nine in 10 testers saying they would recommend it. It retails for $21.99 and is sold through Chemist Warehouse stores across Australia as well as in Drake’s in South Australia.
