Australian meat company Beak & Sons has unveiled a new slow-cooked range it says is on a par with its popular sausages and burgers.
John Stathis, senior brand manager for Beak & Johnston said the slow-cooked category was a ‘natural progression’ for the business.
“Our chefs have been working hard for the past year to ensure that we can offer a slow-cooked range – and we couldn’t be happier with the results,” he said.
The new range was possible due to Beak & Johnston’s acquisition of an Armor Inox Thermix Sous Vide machine – the first and only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
The range comes in four flavours: Tender & Smoked Juicy Beef Brisket which retails for $22.99, Spicy & Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wings ($13.99), Tender & Rich Massaman Lamb Shanks ($24.99), and Tender & Rich Tandoori Lamb Shoulder ($14.99).
The range will be available in IGA and Foodland stores nationwide from this month.
