Kimberly-Clark Australia and New Zealand has named Belinda Driscoll as its new MD of operations.

The first female to take the role, and the youngest appointee yet, she will take over responsibilities from Doug Cunningham who was promoted to president of Europe, Middle East and Africa businesses.

Driscoll joined the company as a senior marketing director in 2020 and has extensive experience in the consumer product sector. Prior to this role, she spent 17 years at Johnson & Johnson in several key local and international leadership roles in Europe, Asia, the US and Australia.

Driscoll said the business is in a strong position with some of its highest market share figures in decades.

“In order to continue this growth, we also remain firmly focused on the wellbeing of our people, our communities and the planet. We have a team of very passionate people working hard to reduce our environmental impact every single day, not only because it is crucial to strengthening our portfolio of brands, it’s high on the list of employee expectations too,” she said.

Under her supervision, the business has continued to perform strongly with a retail sales value growth of 13 per cent in the last two years driven by strong market share results across its Huggies and U by Kotex brands (59 per cent and 36 per cent respectively).

She will start her new role later this year.
