Chocolate brand Hey Tiger resurrected under new partner Soulfresh

Chocolate brand Hey Tiger will be relaunched again by new partner Soulfresh, a beverage company with 20 years of experience.

The chocolate products will return to shelves with new packaging and a continuing commitment to change the cocoa industry as well as supporting women and children living in hard conditions where the cocoa is farmed.

Hey Tiger was founded in 2017 with the aim of offering different kinds of chocolate to Australians.

Didi Lo, founder and CEO of Soulfresh, says both firms have the same mission: to do good and have a positive impact on the food sector.

“We have always looked up to Hey Tiger for its commitment to creating positive change and being a trailblazer of the industry,” he said.

“At Soulfresh our mission is rooted in doing-good, it’s part of our DNA and it is one that we will always remain committed to.”

Hey Tiger will collaborate with The Hunger Project to ensure a fair and ethical supply chain while also aiding some of the world’s most needy individuals. The Hunger Project will receive 2 per cent of each Hey Tiger block sold, which will go toward “women’s empowerment” and “entrepreneurship and social development.”

“Soulfresh will carry on the relationship with The Hunger Project and has pledged to continue giving and doing good,” Lo added.

“Proceeds of each Hey Tiger sale will continue to be donated to ensuring we work together to create change for those living in poverty.”

Hey Tiger is presently being distributed throughout Australia, with IGA, Ritchies IGA, and independent grocers.

To celebrate the new home, the brand has added a new cocoa cookie crumb and orange dark milk chocolate flavour, Soul Tiger, to its line-up.
