Purpose-driven brand Mood Tea has partnered with Woolworths to sell its products across 865 stores in Australia.

The social enterprise which launched last year is on a mission to save lives by donating 100 per cent of its profits to youth mental health charities.

The brand says the unique composition of the tea will help consumers “feel good” with every sip. The tea’s ingredients offer positive benefits like Ashwagandha root which reduces stress, Siberian Ginseng which promotes mental alertness and Skullcap Root which aids in sleep. It’s available in four flavours –  Happy Days, Get On Up, Be Kind, Unwind and Sweet Lullaby.

Chris Freel, CEO of Mood Tea and UnLtd, said the new partnership is a “gamechanger” for the brand to scale up and receive support.

Thinesh Santhiragasan, Woolworths category manager, said: “Customers want to support brands who give back to the community and for many young people, working at our stores is their first job so ensuring they, and our team of all ages, feel their wellbeing is supported is a top priority for Woolworths.”

The brand was created by professionals across 100 companies in media, marketing and advertising along with competitors. The brand supports charities such as Batyr, The Sebastian Foundation and BackTrack.
