Ready-made meal provider Youfoodz has rolled out a new range of high-protein snacks under its Fuel’d brand.
Responding to consumer demand, the brand has combined its most popular flavours with whey protein to develop six new products including cookies, bars and bites.
The company says the snacks deliver several health-boosting benefits such as muscle development, maximising recovery and sustaining energy levels.
Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, who is brand ambassador for Youfoodz, said Fuel’d offers a balanced meal or snack that tastes great and is packed with protein to keep maintain optimal energy levels.
Peter Hardy, head of retail at Youfoodz, said the new launch is a “natural extension” for the brand.
“We’re also mindful that eating patterns have changed significantly in recent times, as consumers search for healthy and convenient solutions that fit into their busy schedules. We saw a real opportunity to evolve our everyday snack range to deliver high-protein benefits that boost performance.”
Each category includes two flavours:
- Fuel’d Vanilla Berry Crunch and Choc Chip High Protein Cookie ($5.50)
- Fuel’d Chewy Caramel and Peanut Butter High Protein Bite ($3.95)
- Fuel’d Choc Crunch and Choc Peanut High Protein Bar ($5)
They are sold at Woolworths, IGA stores, BP and Ampol stores.
