Recall: Haagen-Dazs ice cream

General Mills Australia has recalled Haagen-Dazs Vanilla ice cream sold in 457ml packs, and included in boxed Classic Collection Mini Cups in 95ml. 

The product is contaminated with a chemical – ethylene oxide. Consumers are advised not to eat this product and to seek immediate medical advice if they have concerns.

The Vanilla tubs have been available for sale at Coles, Woolworths and independent retailers including IGA stores nationally while The Classic Collection Mini Cups in 95ml have been sold only at Coles.

The affected products have best-before date markings ranging from 04.07.2022 up to – and including – 21.07.2023. Consumers can get a full refund by returning the product to its place of purchase.
