Innovation Beverage Group, a Western Sydney distillery, has launched a new range of non-alcoholic spirits backed by cricketer Michael Clarke.

Dubbed Drummerboy, the line-up comprises five beverages made from local ingredients coupled with a blend of essences and extracts.

Sahil Beri, Drummerboy’s MD, said the conversation around non-alcoholic spirits is changing and people are starting to realise the huge range of zero-alcohol options.

“For too long, non-alcoholic spirits have suffered in taste and quality, however, Drummerboy is set to change all that. We’ve invested significantly in innovative technology and craftsmanship to deliver a superior tasting experience versus other non-alcoholic options.”

Addressing the commercial partnership Clarke said, “Growing up in Liverpool, I’ve always had a connection to Western Sydney, so I’m extremely proud to represent this community in sharing our outstanding brands and products with the country.”

The range includes ‘London Dry’ which offers juniper and citrus flavours; ‘American Dark’ brewed with vanilla and toasted nuts with a hint of herbal notes. ‘Mexican Agave’ contains vanilla, roasted agave, Mexican lemon and some spices while ‘Italian Rosso’ presents a blood orange caramel citrus blend with cacao. The ‘Italian Aperitivo’ serves bitter orange and rhubarb notes.

A 700ml bottle retails for $45 while a 200ml bottle retails for $20. They can be purchased online via the company website.
