Accolade Wines was named this year’s Supplier of the Year at the Australian Drinks Awards last night.

Andrew Clarke, Accolade’s regional MD for ANZ, described the award as great recognition of the hard work from everyone at Accolade over the past two and a half years. “All that said, today is not taken for granted. There is still a lot to do.”

The business also shared a Supply Chain Management Award with Australian Vintage Limited. The awards were determined by Advantage Australia’s Engagement Program.

David McLoughlin, client director of Advantage Australia, said retailers have witnessed customer-centric approaches taking off during the past few years, describing them as a partner who uses proactivity, collaboration and reliability in their approach to doing business.

Taylors Wines won the Corporate Social Responsibility award while Bacardi bagged The Most Improved Gender Equity award. Treasury Wine Estates also won the award for most Inclusive and Diverse Workplace for the second year in a row.
