T2 Tea has rolled out two new products in its Wellness Teas range called Her Balance and Milk Magic.
The company says the new brews are blended with selected herbs for people looking to “supplement” their daily health rituals with the benefit of tea’s naturally occurring bioactive compounds.
Her Balance tea offers an earthy flavour complemented by a sweetness from raspberries. It blends three ingredients – Shatavari, a botanical element used in Ayurvedic medicine, honeybush which possesses antioxidant properties, and Gotu Kola which boosts healthy-looking skin, hair and nails.
Milk Magic is designed for breastfeeding mums to support lactation and aid in digestion. It has four ingredients in it – marshmallow root, fennel, fenugreek and nettle.
Amy Smith, T2 Tea’s global brand director, said the two latest brews are the brand’s “most unique” creations to date and specially designed to support the female body.
“Recognising the powerful role that tea can play in daily wellness, we specifically wanted to craft a blend that supported the more disruptive and challenging times caused by hormonal imbalance and milk production.”
The brand has drawn inspiration from a new study published in the journal of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry which claims tea naturally produces hormone balancing compounds that aid in boosting cardiovascular health, treating colds or even menstrual cramps.
The new teas retail for $22 for 65g and are available at T2 Tea stores and online.
