For the second year of its “Celebrate Australia” campaign, Nestlé has partnered with local Rotary clubs to release limited-edition Milo and Nescafe Blend 43 tins that showcase six Australian towns.
The towns featured on 1kg tins of Nescafe Blend 43 are Alice Springs, Boorowa, and Mandurah. While Burnie, Charters Towers, and Geelong are given the spotlight on the 1.9kg tins of Milo. Each tin displays artwork of an event or a community story that brings people together.
“Each town chosen to be illustrated on our limited-edition range uniquely embodies community spirit and unity,” said Scott Stuckmann, GM, Nestlé Professional Oceania.
“Nothing brings people together like a sporting event, and Milo joining the Celebrate Australia campaign in 2022 puts the spotlight on community sporting events across the country.”
Aside from the commemorative tins, each town featured received $5000 grand from Nestlé Professional to invest in community initiatives such as providing food supplies in disadvantaged communities in Geelong; supporting a project that supplies medical equipment to the Alice Springs Hospital Paediatric Ward; or providing shelter and seating in common town walking tracks.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Nestlé Professional and put the spotlight on six incredible towns,” said Heather Chong, past district governor of Rotary Tasmania.
“These donations will go on to support so many Australian communities, via Rotary, across the country.”
The Celebrate Australia collection is available from wholesale office and food service distributors, including Countrywide, Bidfood, Campbells, Winc, PFD, Officeworks, COS, and Blackwoods. Nescafe Blend 43 1kg at RRP$55 and Milo 1.9kg at RRP$40.
