Salsa and sauce company Byron Bay Chilli Co has teamed up with Bundaberg Rum and rolled out a range of chilli sauces combined with the distinctive taste of rum.

Available in three flavours – Classic BBQ, Coconut Rum, and Chipotle Rum – the sauces use all-natural ingredients and are free from gluten and preservatives.

“Partnering with such an established and well-known brand as Bundaberg Rum is a milestone for Byron Bay Chilli Co,” said Daniel Morgan, MD at Byron Bay Chilli Co.  

 “We’ve been adding a kick to Australian taste palates for 30 years now and are thrilled to further enhance the experience with the rich and complex molasses flavours of Bundaberg Rum.”

The new BBQ sauces are available through foodservice distributors or direct from the company for RRP$13.60 per 1-litre carton or RRP$81.60  per pack of six cartons.

Byron Bay Chili also launched vegan-friendly corn chips earlier this month.
