Starbucks launches iced coffees through grocery channels

Starbucks has introduced its new ready-to-drink iced coffee product Starbucks Frappuccino, in collaboration with Nestle.

The ready-to-drink range features two flavours – milk coffee latte and mocha – and will be exclusively distributed and developed by Nestle in Australia.

“Through this new collaboration, Nestle and Starbucks are bringing Australians the signature taste of Starbucks coffee in an easy, ready-to-drink format,” said Rebecca Dobbins, Nestle’s GM of dairy.

Dobbins says the new line will enable both businesses to reach a younger consumer group by providing a customised and fresh beverage product.

Due to the rapidly expanding market for ready-to-drink coffee in Australia, Starbucks says it will keep building its innovation pipeline to help the market grow.

The range is available in 280ml bottles for RRP $4.25 at Woolworths, IGA, 7/11, BP, and EG Group.

Starbucks joined Nestle in a $9.48 billion global partnership in 2018.
