To reinvigorate the coffee arm of its business, Indigenous-owned company SuppyAus Holdings has appointed Nerida Brink as the head of food and beverage.
In August, the company acquired Queensland-based Aromas Coffee Roasters for an undisclosed sum.
Brink (pictured above) has more than 18 years of experience in the coffee industry and was instrumental in expanding specialty coffee roaster St Ali’s Queensland footprint from two to 47 stores in just five years.
“Beyond exploring ways we can incorporate native foods into our business, we are looking to generate a direct partnership with our producers – this is huge for our industry, and I am excited to see it unfold,” said Brink.
SupplyAus co-founder, Adam Williams, described Brink as a “true asset” to the business.
“Along with her decades of experience, Nerida brings an alignment of values that are seen in her passion for and advocacy of the prevalence of Indigenous business in our every day.”
SupplyAus now owns and operates a range of brands including Bunji Workwear, SupplyAus Medical, Jingeri Office National and Aromas Coffee Roasters.
