Auckland-based FMCG brand incubator Red Shoots has landed a $1 million retail partnership with Coles for its Daily Good Immunity shots range. The product will be stocked in more than 700 stores nationwide, marking a major milestone for the company.
Daily Good Immunity Shots are made with organic superfoods, such as Fijian ginger, NZ Manuka honey, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar, which help provide a “well-rounded health boost” and support immunity. In addition, they are gluten-free and dairy-free, with no added fillers.
Flavours within the range are Turmeric, Blackcurrant, and Fiji Ginger.
“We’re confident that Coles’ consumers will love our premium Immunity Shots, which meet the growing demand for ‘food as medicine’ that supports immune health,” said Red Shoots co-founder Rhona MacKenzie.
“As a purpose-led brand created to ‘do good’, this will further enable us to support our partner farm in Fiji, Ranadi Organics, and their vital women-focused impact work.”
Ranadi Organics supplies USDA-certified organic Fijian turmeric and ginger for the Daily Good range. In return, the brand said its proceeds help provide a commercially viable source of income for Ranadi, allowing them to continue to scale and support rural Fijian women.
The Daily Good Immunity Shots are available for an RRP of $19 in NZ in Countdown stores and in Australia at Woolworths and Coles (beginning mid-September).
