Marlborough-based craft brewery Moa Brewing Company is expanding its “better-for-you” range with the launch of two new beers: Bush Moa Mid Ale and Panorama Low Carb Lager.

The Panorama Low Carb Lager boasts a well-balanced, “easy drinking” beverage with only 86 calories per can. It has an ABV of 4 per cent and is made from New Zealand malt and three different hops variants.

Meanwhile, the Bush Moa Mid Ale has an ABV of 2.5 per cent and offers consumers a full-flavoured, mid-strength, and low-alcohol beer that “doesn’t sacrifice taste”.

Moa Brewing MD Stephen Smith said Kiwi drinkers are increasingly changing their attitudes towards drinking, and expect brands to have low-carb and low-alcohol options

“However, much of what is currently available doesn’t quite hit the spot when it comes to flavour,” continued Smith.

“We’re excited to enter the better-for-you category with ‘better’ brews that don’t compromise on taste.

Moa Brewing Co’s Panorama Low Carb Lager is available for an RRP of NZ$17.99 (AU$16.59) for 6x300ml cans, and the Bush Moa Mid Ale for an RRP of NZ$26.99 for 12x300ml cans.
