In a bid to become one of the leaders in the non-alcoholic RTD market, Kommunity Brew has secured shelf space deals with independent grocers across the country, including LaManna Supermarket in Melbourne, QE Foods and Harris Farms in NSW, Hill Street Grocer in Tasmania, The Good Grocer IGAs in Perth, and Flannery’s in QLD.

The company’s grocery distribution comes as it expands its product portfolio to include a new caramel flavour to its Cold Matter Cold Brew range and a Passionfruit flavour to its signature kombucha range.

Moreover, Kommunity Brew also recently acquired Melbourne-based Cool Cool Beverages to create a broader national profile and expand its distribution network.

Mason Bagios, CEO of Kommunity Brew, said the new partnership represents the ideal next step for the company.

“We might be headquartered in Western Australia, but our retail footprint continues to expand as we partner with some of the country’s most exciting independent grocers and gourmet providores,” Bagios said.

“These are premium, independently owned chains run by families and entrepreneurs whose local-first ethos perfectly aligns with Kommunity Brew’s values. Trusted relationships like these are so important if Kommunity Brew is to compete with the soft-drink goliaths successfully.”

Bagios added that marketing and distribution remain the two core pillars of growth for the brand, with significant campaigns across each state.

“With our products now stocked on more shelves across the country, in both major supermarkets and a range of premium independent grocers, we expect to reach half of our new capacity by the end of this year, with more exciting times ahead in 2024,” he concluded.

Aside from expanded retail distribution and product portfolio, the company increased its manufacturing capacity fourfold in May with a new purpose-designed brewery in Perth.
