Perentie Brewing commissions 1 million litre brewery in Queensland

Perentie Brewing Co has unveiled its $6 million purpose-built brewery specialising in authentic lager beers.

Located at Distillery Road Market (DRM), the 1 million litre capacity brewery is where the company will produce its signature beers including Summer Dry – a mid-strength lager, Pure Crisp – a clean crisp lager, and Komodo Black – a dark lager.

The firm says it uses traditional German brewing techniques to deliver a “distinct and unmistakable taste” for the Australian palate.

Perentie Brewing will also manage its own canning and kegging process at the brewery.

Aside from the facility, the company also operates a 200-seating beer garden and bar offering a seasonal menu served fresh from the Perentie Kitchen.

“DRM, and now Perentie, is somewhere you can meet family or friends halfway, stop for a refreshing drink and bite to eat, browse the markets and listen to your favourite local musicians,” said Kenton Campbell, owner of Perentie Brewing Co.

“We’re just so excited to finally serve up our brand of highly sessionable, authentic and quality lager beers – it’s been a long process that has led us to create a space and product that we are truly proud of, and ready to share with everyone.”
