Dan Murphy’s retro diner takes over Melbourne Food & Wine Fest

Melbourne Food & Wine Festival and Dan Murphy’s have teamed up to launch Dan’s Diner, a pop-up full-service restaurant and bar.

The retro diner at Federation Square will run for 10 days from March 15-24.

Dan’s Diner aims to elevate the food scene with an all-Dan culinary team led by Dan Hunter from Brae, Daniel Puskas from Sixpenny, and Daniel Wilson from Yakimono.

The pop-up honours Dan Murphy’s founder, Daniel Francis Murphy, his dedication to new drinking experiences, as well as his profound love for food and wine

Visitors can experience beverages curated by Dan Docherty from Commis, including cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and a selection of local wines and beers handpicked by Dan Murphy’s experts.

The event promises to be a visual feast, with waitstaff dressed in 50s diner uniforms and model diners occupying booths.
