Innovation in the food service industry has been celebrated at Australia’s largest food and hospitality event, Fine Food Australia.
The Best New Product Awards, an annual feature of the exhibition hosted at Sydney Olympic Park, recognised the most outstanding products to have launched in the food industry over the last 12 months, over a series of five categories including retail, hospitality, bakery, food service, and Australian made.
Winners of the night included Old Fashioned Lemonade Soda Syrup by The Soda Press Co.; Winterhalter PT Climate plus by Winterhalter; Pastry Press by W&P Reedy; Milklab by Freedom Foods; and Coffee machine Technologies by Viper.
Minnie Constan, exhibition director, said 2015 had once again proved to be an exciting and challenging year for the food industry.
“We constantly need to reinvent ourselves and evolve in line with consumer demands and industry trends, and the New Product Awards is a great opportunity to recognise those businesses who are doing just that. It’s also a great way to celebrate everything that is great about the business we are in,” Constan, said.
