2019 Retailer Awards finalists announced

retail awardsInside Retail has announced the finalists for the 2019 Retailer Awards presented by Commonwealth Bank, highlighting outstanding customer experience and service from Australian and New Zealand retailers.

T2, Boost Juice, McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme are among the final selection, with the winner in each category to be announced in February.

Judges include Inside Retail acting editor Heather McIlvaine, QUT Business School associate professor Gary Mortimer, General Store executive strategy director Matt Newell, non-executive director of Vicinity Centres, JB Hi-Fi and PMP Ltd Wai Tang and Commonwealth Bank national retail industry lead Jerry Macey.

McIlvaine said the entries reflect the high calibre of retail talent in Australia.

“Businesses of all sizes and in all categories are rising to meet new expectations of speed and service through technical solutions, as well as company-wide shifts in thinking to put the customer first,” she said.

“But the best of the best are putting these things together to redefine the customer experience.”
