Bricklane brews Tinnies for Coles

TinniesCraft beer brewer Bricklane has created a new range of brews specifically for Coles’ customers.

Tinnies beer range includes Pale Ale, Tropical XPA and a Session IPA. Sydney artist Alex Lehours designed the bright tropical XPA can, inspired by the brewing process and the summer season.

“I loved the idea of the can representing what the brewer would be thinking when he’s creating the beer. The design is really an explosion of the thoughts and ideas that would be going through a brewer’s mind as part of that process. And it’s all held together with a wave to bring home the summer-ness of it all,” said Lehours.

The Pale Ale has a biscuit-y malt with slight caramel flavours, backed up with stone fruit, pine and citrus characters. Session IPA is bursting with flavours of citrus and pine with a hop-driven finish. While the Tropical XPA is an extra Pale Ale, full of tropical and citrus aromas with an exciting hopped finish.

“Our beer experts listened to feedback from customers and worked with brewing specialists to develop delicious craft beers for all to enjoy,” Coles acting chief executive Liquor and Hotels Cathi Scarce said.

“We know that Australians like to drink an easy to find, tasty beer without too much pretension. So we’ve worked with a local craft brewery to combine their passion with a whole ecosystem of high-quality producers of premium hops, barley and pure water to create a great range of beers that are easy to find and easy to drink. Brewed in small batches with quality hops, and available Australia wide, Tinnies is a craft beer for everyone, the perfect summer beer.”

Tinnies is available Australia-wide in Liquorland, First Choice Liquor and Vintage Cellars.
