TerryWhite Chemmart flies high on loyalty with Qantas

Australian pharmacy chain TerryWhite Chemmart is partnering with airline Qantas’ Frequent Flyer loyalty program in an alliance that is expected to provide significant growth opportunities for the retailer.

Shoppers can earn two Qantas Points per dollar when they make a purchase at TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacies, and can access bonus points and special offers across certain product ranges.

TerryWhite Chemmart CEO Duncan Phillips, who was appointed to the position earlier this month, said the partnership will help drive new customers through the doors.

“We are really focused on providing a more differentiated offer for our network partners and their customers, so it’s great to have a partnership with an iconic brand like Qantas that will provide strong marketing reach and drive new customers to our pharmacies,” he said.

The retailer recently launched a new marketing campaign and last year joined the EBOS Group of companies.

“With our latest brand campaign ‘that’s real chemistry’ this partnership is the perfect representation of the type of connections we aim to make with our customers,” Phillips added.

Chief executive of Qantas loyalty Olivia Wirth said the airline is excited to partner with the Australian pharmacy.

“We’re excited to partner with TerryWhite Chemmart and launch a new category of every day earn for members across their extensive network of pharmacies. We know our members are always looking for ways to earn Qantas Points on regular purchases, so this partnership will be really popular,” Wirth said.

Current Qantas Frequent Flyers who join the TerryWhite Chemmart Rewards program will receive 1000 Bonus Qantas Points when they spend A$30 or more in one transaction on selected products.
