The frontline heroes of FMCG

In the last month, the COVID-19 outbreak has placed a monumental strain on the FMCG industry, with manufacturing, transport and retail under pressure to meet unprecedented demand for essential items.

Supermarket staff are working under particularly stressful and sometimes dangerous conditions, factory workers are working long hours to maintain supply and some employees are taking a lead in adapting lines to produce completely different but desperately needed products such as hand sanitiser and face masks.

Here at Inside FMCG, we want to pay tribute to the hard working people on the frontline of FMCG, who are going above and beyond to ensure the community has access to the goods that they need.

Tell us about an #FMCGFrontlineHero

It could be a colleague, or a supermarket worker at your local shop, you tell us and we will share their stories across our social media accounts.

You can tell us about an FMCG Frontline Hero in a post on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Remember to tag Inside FMCG and #FMCGFrontlineHero

Alternatively you can drop us an email at fmcgnews@octomedia.com.au with the details.

Here’s what we need to know:

  • Name and job title of the person – if you have received their permission to do so.
  • An image of the person – if you have their permission.
  • A few sentences explaining what makes them an FMCG hero

Please note, if you do not know the person and/or have not received permission from them to share their story, do not disclose their identity. If you still want to tell us about the great work they do, you can do so without revealing their identity.

We will ask for contact details of the person to ensure that we have permission to share their name and image.
