Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s low alcohol wine brand Sevenly is set to launch in Australian liquor stores on Friday.

AVL Wines has teamed up with Coles Liquor to introduce the actress’ brand into Liquorland and First Choice Liquor Market stores. Other wines from Sarah Jessica Parker’s range were previously sold in Australia via an online store called Sendnsip created by New Zealand winery Invivo & Co.

The actress who co-founded the brand said her new range will help customers consume a lighter option at gatherings or during evening meals.

“It’s been an interesting process led by my winery partners at Invivo to create wines that have less alcohol but still a great deal of flavour and mouthfeel to them, which is important to us.”

Coles Liquor GM merchandise, Brad Gorman said customers are interested in low- or no-alcohol alternatives and the company is continuing to expand its low alcohol offerings in-store.

The wines are produced in a variety of styles including Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Red Blend and Prosecco. They carry 7 per cent alcohol and retail for $20 nationwide.
