Woolworths has recalled two Macro Wholefoods organic plant-based milk products.
Macro Certified Organic Unsweetened Coconut Milk and Macro Certified Organic Naturally Sweet Rice Milk both in 1 one litre cartons are being recalled due to the presence of an undeclared allergen – ironically, milk.
Consumers with dairy allergies are advised not to consume it and return the product to their nearest Woolworths store for a full refund.
The affected products have best before dates as follows:
- Macro Certified Organic Unsweetened Coconut Milk 1L: 03/04/2023
- Macro Certified Organic Naturally Sweet Rice Milk 1L: 29/03/2023
The products were sold between April 6 and 19. The Macro Certified Organic Unsweetened Coconut Milk in 1L was available only in Woolworths stores in Victoria, while the Macro Certified Organic Naturally Sweet Rice Milk 1L was available at Woolworths stores in NSW and Queensland.
