Yerbi introduces a ‘jitter-free’ energy drink

Yerbi – a brand new energy drink from the Bickford’s Group – is now being rolled out Australia-wide.

The brew is naturally high in caffeine and contains yerba mate and guarana, both plants native to South America. It is sweetened with vanilla and honey and contains 6.9g of sugar per 100ml.

The brand says the drink offers a more subtle and longer-lasting “energy boost” compared to other caffeinated energy drinks.

Beverley Reeves, marketing manager of the brand, said the new drink is designed to help health-conscious consumers who are looking for a natural alternative to artificial energy boosts.

“We know people are busier than ever these days and sometimes you just need a boost to help you through the day and into the night. Yerbi provides the great-tasting energy to do everything you need to do, but also the things you want to do,” said Reeves.

She added the drink is free from the “caffeine jitters” or “crash” often associated with energy drinks and supplements.

Yerbi retails for $3.50 for a 250ml can and $11 for a four-pack. It is sold through Woolworths, Foodland SA, Drakes, Romeo’s Retail and throughout other independent supermarket networks.
