Grant Rosewarne has resigned as the CEO of New Zealand King Salmon Investments (NZK), with immediate effect.

NZK chair John Ryder said Rosewarne made “significant contributions” to the company since 2009, including leading the company through its IPO and the creation of the Ora King brand.

“Furthermore, Grant has led a significant effort to obtain new water space to enable future growth and we are expecting to hear an outcome from our Blue Endeavour application at the end of November.”

As Rosewarne owes the company loans related to certain share acquisitions, the company has granted him a ‘put option’ for long-term incentive plans.

Graeme Tregidga, the GM of sales, will be acting chief until a replacement is announced.
