Alter Eco Foods, known for its organic dark chocolate bars, has been acquired by Trek One Capital.
“I look forward to my partnership with Trek One along with their support and commitment to take the Alter Eco premium brand of products to the next level,” said Alter Eco’s recently appointed CEO Keith Bearden.
Alter Eco also manufactures truffles, granola and quinoa and markets them in Australia, New Zealand, the US and Canada – mainly through organic food retailers.
The company boasts a fully carbon-neutral manufacturing process and recyclable product packaging.
It sources materials from eco-friendly farms practising regenerative farming, agroforestry, sustainable agriculture and fair trade practices.
Alter Eco is B Corp-certified and its products are certified organic.
Trek One is an investment company focused on lower-middle market growth-oriented businesses.
