BioGaia has launched Protectis Probiotics Baby Drops, which the company claims helps reduce crying among infants by protecting their guts.
The company noted that according to its research, 23 per cent of Australian parents experience confusion, panic, and social anxiety when their babies relentlessly cry.
BioGaia claims that its product is clinically proven to reduce crying time by 56 per cent after two weeks.
“Our product not only significantly reduces crying time but also increases the number of bowel movements in both constipated and healthy infants, and reduces regurgitations,” said Gianfranco Grompone, chief scientific officer and VP of discovery and research at BioGaia.
