Aldi Australia has launched Choceur Choco Changer, a responsibly sourced chocolate bar, as the supermarket chain joins Tony’s Open Chain, which seeks to end exploitation in the cocoa industry.
Aldi Australia joins Aldi supermarkets in the US, the UK, and Europe in the program.
“The launch of Choceur Choco Changer in Australia represents a significant milestone in the Aldi South Group’s commitment to making good difference for both people and the planet through responsible sourcing and responsible business practice,” said Daniel Baker, Aldi Australia’s director of sustainability.
“For everyday chocolate lovers this means you can savour a delicious treat while supporting a more ethical cocoa industry.”
The new chocolate bar is available in Milk Salted Caramel Brownie, Dark Salty Fudge Almond, and Milk Honeycomb Nougat flavours for $3.99 each.
