Functional organic coconut water brand CocoGen has launched in Australia, formulated to deliver hydration to support energy, recovery, and overall well-being.
The drink, created from organic Vietnamese coconut water, has been positioned as a natural sports drink alternative, delivering 25 per cent more electrolytes than other coconut water brands.
CocoGen is free from artificial colours, flavours, dairy, gluten, and GMOs and features three main formulations, including CoCogen + Electrolytes, which contains five different electrolytes, CocoGen + Magnesium, which includes 700mg of magnesium sourced from North Atlantic seawater. The brand says the product eases muscle tension, improves mood, and supports recovery.
The range also includes a Cocogen + Collagen formulation that contains 5mg of halal- and kosher-certified hydrolysed collagen peptides sourced from Germany to support healthy skin, hair, and joints.
“Coconut water has always been refreshing, but with CocoGen, we’ve created a drink that works harder – hydrating while supporting your skin, muscles, mood, and performance,” said CocoGen co-founder Damon Gorrie.
“CocoGen’s sleek metallic silver packaging breaks away from the predictable blues and greens that dominate the category because we’re signalling a new era of functional hydration.”
The company partners with local farmers and has built 7500ha of organic farms using organic fertilisers and bio-pesticides, with each coconut harvested within 50km of the factory to retain freshness and nutritional integrity.
CocoGen is available online and at select independent retailers and local cafes across Sydney and Melbourne, with a national rollout to follow.
