Bubs Australia has appointed non-executive director Paul Jensen as independent chair following the resignation of Katrina Rathie.

CEO Joe Coote has also joined the board as MD, with both appointments effective immediately, Bubs Australia announced in a statement to the ASX.

Jensen, who joined the board in 2023, has chaired the company’s audit and risk committee since his appointment and has over two decades of experience serving on ASX-listed and unlisted boards across a range of industries.

Coote was named CEO in July this year, bringing over 20 years of global leadership experience in consumer products, dairy and infant formula.

“I am excited about the future of Bubs and the opportunity to serve as chair and welcome Joe to the board as MD,” Jensen said.

“We are committed to further board evolution during this financial year to ensure we have the right mix of skills and experience to oversee our corporate strategy and to align with corporate governance standards.”
