Consumer goods giant P&G is calling its fiscal 2026 a “year of foundation” amid stagnant sales and profits.

The full year saw the company generate $87 billion in revenue, a 3 per cent increase from 2025, with 2 per cent of that figure attributable to favourable foreign exchange rates.

Profits also saw little movement. The year-end figure of $16.1 billion was a roughly 0.5 per cent increase from 2025.

“Fiscal 2026 was a year of foundation building while continuing to grow sales and profit and return high levels of cash to shareowners despite a very challenging geopolitical and economic environment,” said Shailesh Jejurikar, president and CEO.

“In fiscal 2027, we expect to deliver progress on each of these key measures despite continued volatility. We believe the best path to sustainable, balanced growth is to double down on our strategy and put the consumer first in everything we do.”

The fastest-growing division within P&G was its beauty products, up 4 per cent, while baby, family and feminine care products declined in sales.

“We are confident in our plans to accelerate growth from semester-to-semester, and our investments will be funded with a strong productivity program,” Jejurikar added. “We are building momentum with consumers, and we are excited about the long-term opportunities ahead.”
