Australian-owned tattoo skincare brand Ink Nurse will expand into North America after securing a seven-figure investment from angel investor Michael Cho.
The plant-based skincare company is currently stocked at Chemist Warehouse stores across Australia and has secured partnerships with Walmart North America and Spencer’s.
Founder and CEO Jason Talyor said the funding would help the company achieve its goal of global expansion.
“Our vision has always been bigger than aftercare,” said Taylor.
“We’re building a new standard in skin barrier care, and now we have the fuel to do it.
“The Ink Nurse family welcomes our dear friend, Michael H Cho. Michael is a respected angel investor and innovator, whose leadership across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and global healthcare validates Ink Nurse’s vision.
In 2024, Ink Nurse became the first tattoo care brand to secure a dedicated in-store tattoo care category at Chemist Warehouse.
