Nature’s Organics-owned dishwashing liquid, Blast Ultra Plus, has topped the rankings in Canstar Blue’s customer satisfaction survey for dishwashing liquids in 2014, beating the private label brands of supermarket giants Aldi, Coles, and Woolworths.
Blast scored five stars for overall satisfaction in Canstar’s survey, as well as received five stars for cleaning effectiveness and smell.
Aldi’s private label dishwashing liquid placed second, after receiving five stars for value for money and four stars for the remaining four categories. Earth Choice was ranked third, securing a top rating for environmental friendliness.
Canstar Blue commissions Colmar Brunton to regularly survey 3000 Australian consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction.
The outcomes reported are the results from customers within the survey group who have purchased dishwashing liquid in the last three months.
Other brands that also rated in the survey included Fairy, Trix, Morning Fresh, Palmolive, Coles Smart Buy, Coles Brands (excluding Smart Buy), Finish, Woolworths Homebrand, and Woolworths Select.
According to Canstar, the average Australian who responded to the survey spends 22 minutes a day washing dishes, noting men spend a little longer on the job of hand washing dishes each week (three hours) than women (two hours hours and 12 minutes).
