Woolies director joins Coke as CFO

Former Woolworths Australia finance director – supermarkets, Martyn Roberts, has been named as Coca-Cola Amatil’s new group CFO.

Roberts was finance director – supermarkets since July 2014, and previous to that was GM – petrol at Woolworths.

Prior to Woolworths, Roberts spent more than nine years as CFO of Louis Vuitton where he gained international experience in both Europe and Asia. He has also held senior management positions at fashion group, Belinda International, and Dick Smith.

“Martyn is a highly credential executive with broad experience in general management and in leading finance and corporate strategy, both in Australia and offshore. He has a strong track record of success in corporate finance, commercial management, strategy development, and driving performance improvement,” Alison Watkins, group MD of Coca-Cola Amatil, said.

Roberts will start as group CFO during Coca-Cola Amatil’s third quarter.
