Former Woolworths senior executive, Julie Coates, has joined food giant, Goodman Fielder, as head of commercial.
Goodman Fielder is the maker of brands including Wonder White, Helga’s, Meadow Lea, and Pampas.
According to Fairfax Media, Coates, who was previously director of Big W from until and director of business transformation at Woolworths from 2013 to 2014, was hired by Goodman Fielder’s new CEO, Scott Weitemeyer.
Weitemeyer replaced former CEO, Chris Delaney, following its $1.34 billion sale to Singapore agribusiness, Wilmar, and Hong Kong-based investment firm, First Pacific.
The takeover also resulted in the resignation of its board members including Steven Gregg, Chris Delaney, Ian Cornell, Jan Dawson, Chris Froggatt, Peter Hearl, Clive Hooke, and Ian Johnston.
