Coles recalls veggie burgers

ColesColes has issued a recall for one its vegeterian burger products due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, specifically gluten from wheat.

The supermarket giant is recalling Coles Brand Curried Pumpkin and Corn Burgers 250g with the best before stamp dates of November 2, 2016 and November 9, 2016.

Coles and Bi-Lo Supermarkets and Coles Online in Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania are the supermarket branches that are affected.

Consumers who have a wheat or gluten allergy or intolerance may have an allergic reaction if they consume the product.

A statement issued by the company said customers can return the product to any Coles supermarket for a full refund and any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
