The 2017 Product of the Year Awards recognised the product range under the Frozen (Sweet) category.
Among 14,205 Aussies surveyed by Nielsen, they chose from the nominated products across all 45 categories, based on quality and innovation.
“At Sara Lee, we believe that dessert is the best part of the meal, and we wanted to offer consumers something a bit more premium specifically for casual entertaining and special occasions. We are overjoyed to be recognised nationally, knowing that the range is fast becoming a favourite for consumers,” according to Sara Lee Australia’s marketing manager, Karen Ramsay
Supported by “The Lookalikes” 2016 media campaign across TV, digital and print, Sara Lee also launched the range’s latest flavour, Chocolate & Orange Crunchy Cheesecake. This is the fourth cake in the enticing line-up of different flavours, including Salted Caramel; Mango & Coconut and Zesty Lemon.
“As more Australians are venturing further with new products, we are excited to be able to innovate upon our classic cheesecakes, providing on trend flavours that still have broad appeal,” Ramsay said.
“We’re excited to be growing the Frozen Desserts Category with 25 per cent of Sara Lee Incredibly Crunchy shoppers being either new or existing shoppers buying more, as shown on the MAT IRI scan data from 8 January 2017.

Now on its eighth year and as one of the world’s largest consumer-voted awards for product innovation, Product of the Year is Australia’s largest independent consumer survey of new products.
Sara Lee’s Incredibly Crunchy Cheesecake range is sold at RRP $6.99 each. It is available at Coles, Woolworths and independent stores nationwide.
