CCA, Paradise Beverages launch Vonu Export in Australia

Product-Vonu-BeerCoca-Cola Amatil and Paradise Beverages have launched Vonu Export beer in Australia.

The new liquor brand transforms water into a refreshingly clean, crisp, ultra low carb lager. Vonu, the Fijian word for turtle, is the majestic creature at the heart of the brand’s ‘live free’ philosophy, as brand manager Blake Kramer puts it.

“Vonu’s life is grounded within the water and the brand is a proud supporter of the Mamanuca Environment Society (MES), which protects the turtles, our waterways and local Fijian communities,” Kramer explained.

“The Mamanuca Islands are home to four either critically endangered or vulnerable turtle species. Through our support for the MES and its Sea Turtle Conservation Project, we’re offering socially conscious beer drinkers the opportunity to live free, and enjoy a really great-tasting authentic new brand with a great story to tell, and fewer carbs.”

Vonu Export is now available in selected on- and off-premise outlets available across Australia, as well as its native Fiji. The launch will be heavily supported by a unique content campaign featuring authentic content co-created with lifestyle influencers (available via Vonu’s social channels @vonubeer and website) as well as a consumer PR campaign focussed on targeted coastal communities and a bespoke range of point of sale material and targeted activations running over the summer period.

Refreshingly clean and crisp, the new 4.2 per cent ABV Vonu Export contains less than 0.5mg of gluten per 100ml and 0.6g of carbohydrate (80 per cent less per 100ml than a sample of average leading full strength lagers). A proud partner of the Mamanuca Environment Society, the brand is targeted at 22 to 35-year-old males and females who enjoy the coastal and surfing lifestyle.
