PepsiCo seals multiyear deal with Marriott

Pepsi MarriottSoft drinks giant PepsiCo has sealed a multiyear deal with hotel business Marriott International, extending its long-term partnership.

PepsiCo were selected as the beverage provider for the hotel’s international legacy brands as well as the Starwood brand.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with Marriott and look forward to extending our beverage offering to all of their properties in Australia and New Zealand,” said Danny Celoni, CEO, PepsiCo ANZ. “We offer such a diverse range of beverages and really offer something for every guest – from Pepsi Max, Australia’s number one no sugar cola, to Gatorade, for superior hydration.”

The new deal sees the FMCG giant support Marriott’s strategic growth priorities with its food and beverage design and content capabilities; cultural insights; culinary innovation and technology to improve hotel guests experience. The expanded agreement also targets several sustainability programs and aligns with Marriott’s loyalty program, so its members will gain access to PepsiCo’s global sports and entertainment events.

PepsiCo products available at Marriott hotels include Pepsi, Aquafina, LIFEWTR, Mountain Dew, bubly, Starbucks, Tropicana, Lipton Iced Tea and Gatorade. The hotel also offers some of its food brands including Quaker Oats and Frito-Lay snacks.

PepsiCo, Marriott International partnership has spanned 4000 properties in North America and more than 850 hotels globally. The new deal will now extend to an additional 1500 hotels.
