Online retail giant Amazon Australia is collaborating with after-hours package delivery service ParcelPoint to launch an integrated click-and-collect and easy returns for Amazon customers.
ParcelPoint operates from over 1300+ locations such as pharmacies, convenience stores, petrol stations, and shopping centres, which are accessible to customers outside of standard hours, including on weekends.
The service will offer Amazon customers another way of collecting and return items, which can be tracked along the journey.
“Choice and convenience are important to Amazon customers,” Craig Fuller, director of supply chain and transportation for Amazon Australia said.
“Through our work with the ParcelPoint network across Australia, Amazon customers can now pick up and return their eligible packages when and where they want, at their local store near home or work, and we couldn’t be more excited for the convenience this will bring to our customers.”
Julian Leach, ParcelPoint CEO said it is exciting for the company to be working with Amazon and expects the service will make peoples’ lives “just a
little bit easier”.
