Timboon Fine Ice Cream adopts new image for 21st birthday

Victoria’s Timboon Fine Ice Cream has unveiled a new look in celebration of its 21st anniversary.

Timboon Fine’s new packaging, created by Sydney studio Squad Ink, features a more modern and stylish look. The new design has been rolled out across Timboon Fine’s six premium ice cream flavours.

“After some self-reflection around where we’ve come from and where we’re headed as a brand, we knew it was time for a refresh,” said Tim Marwood, third generation farmer and founder of Timboon Fine Ice Cream. “While the old tubs were a fun design they were a little unsophisticated for the quality of our product.

“We wanted to really focus on our provenance, being farm fresh and deliciously creamy. The gold trim gives the tubs a premium feel, however we’re not elitist or snobbish,” he added.

The ice-cream brand plans to open new scoop shops in Geelong and Ballarat and further expand into South Australia and NSW. Marwood and his wife Caroline Simmons are also talking with a Middle Eastern importer with a view to expand into other regions.

Founded in 1999 by Marwood and Simmons, Timboon Fine Ice Cream is sold through more than 80 gourmet-food stores and IGAs across Victoria, five mobile event vans and two regional own-brand retail stores.
